Welcome! This blog site is for artists and designers who love what they do and sometimes don't have time to do what they love. It is about finding a spark of inspiration when it's raining inside your head and you are facing a deadline.
It is also about finding balance - time for family, friends, pets, tennis and yes, cleaning, cooking, laundry - AND being a successful artist. (By successful I mean an artist who participates in shows and sells his or her work. I think that anyone who is creative and finds a way to make art is successful. In the context of this blog, I am referring to making money by selling the fruit of your creative labor).
This blog will occasionally refer to the beads - those amazing artifacts that we humans have utilized for thousands of years for adornment and self-expression.
